Filter Cleaning

One of the most important aspects of pool care is keeping your filter running in peak condition eliminating many potential water problems and prolonging costly repairs. Proper backwashing and periodic maintenance will insure maximum efficiency and extend the life of your filter.

D.E. Filters:
At least once every year (usually the Spring and Fall) these filters should be disassembled, cleaned, and inspected for wear.

Depending on usage and environment, these filters should be stirred, treated, cleaned, and inspected regularly. In some cases it may be necessary to replace the old sand.

*Prices do not include parts and additional labor if needed. The average life span of filter grids and cartridges varies depending on factors such as how often they are cleaned and how clean you keep your pool water, two to five years is typical.
